North-West College Names Yesi Ortiz Official Spokesperson
New Partnership Underscores Mutual Commitment to Educating Students for Success

WEST COVINA, Calif.—North-West College (NWC) recently recognized Yesi Ortiz, known as the Voice of LA on Power 106 FM, as its official spokesperson. In her new role, Ortiz will serve as the face of North-West College, appearing in a number of upcoming television and radio spots as well as print publications designed to promote the College’s educational offerings. Ortiz also plans to make several appearances at North-West College events throughout the year.

“North-West College is thrilled to have a spokesperson like Yesi who is aligned with our everyday mission to train students in short-term programs for gainful employment,” President Mitchell Fuerst said.

Prior to her successful career in broadcasting, Ortiz worked in a variety of industries, including health care, to support her family. She understands the challenges of juggling work, family, and education. With day and evening classes available at seven Southern California locations, Ortiz views North-West College’s flexible programs as a great way for individuals to further their education in a supportive learning environment—all while preparing for a rewarding career in health care.
