Fuerst Joins Business Leaders and Community Members Dedicated to Delivering Quality Health Care

GLENDALE, Calif.—In recognition of his longtime commitment to providing quality allied health training programs, Success Education Colleges President Mitchell Fuerst recently joined Adventist Health Glendale’s (AHGL) Board of Governors. Comprised of more than 15 local business leaders, along with several physicians on staff at AHGL, the board provides oversight for the largest medical center in the San Fernando Valley.

“I am honored to join the Board of Governors at Adventist Health Glendale,” Fuerst explained. “It is a privilege to work alongside such a talented group of individuals who share my passion for quality health care.”

The 515-bed medical facility brings together the efforts of more than 800 physicians, 2,600 associates, and 1,100 volunteers as it serves the surrounding communities. In addition to Adventist Health Glendale’s many accreditations and certifications, U.S. News & World Report also rated AHGL a “High Performing Medical Center” in 5 categories for 2017–18.

As a member of the center’s Governing Board, SEC President Mitchell Fuerst is tasked with ensuring the quality of care provided by Adventist Health Glendale, along with providing oversight on the strategic direction and financial decisions of the medical center.

“I look forward to seeing the positive impact Adventist Health Glendale will continue to have on so many lives as it carries forward its mission of health and wellness for the whole person,” Fuerst shared.
