A second-generation school administrator, Mitchell Fuerst is President of Success Education Colleges (SEC), a system of eleven allied health colleges based in the Los Angeles and Las Vegas areas. Mitchell provides leadership to the thousands of students who enroll in the colleges—casting a vision to prepare individuals to succeed in their careers and in their communities.
Mitchell’s hands-on leadership style means he views each day as an opportunity to motivate and support the team members of SEC, empowering them to turn this vision into reality. SEC includes North-West College (8 campuses), Glendale Career College (2 campuses), and Nevada Career Institute.
Marsha Fuerst, Mitchell’s mother, founded North-West College in 1966. Mitchell Fuerst joined the organization in 1994, working alongside his mother in a variety of positions. He then followed in her footsteps by becoming the organization’s President in 2010.
A strong advocate for students and a firm believer in education with a purpose, Mitchell serves on various corporate boards, has lectured extensively, and is involved with numerous philanthropic organizations.
Mitchell is also a proud graduate of California Polytechnic University, Pomona with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
